Eyes glinted from the top of a spire.
These were no normal eyes,
For as it were, they saw everything.
Not just people, but their inside, to their very soul.
The falcon spread its wings and swoops down on its prey.
Like burnished steel blades, the talons dug into their target,
As delicate as a surgeon’s scalpel.
The falcon disappeared into a burst of feathers,
Leaving only the sweet smell of cherry blossoms
And the carcass of his prey for the hounds.
These were no normal eyes,
For as it were, they saw everything.
Not just people, but their inside, to their very soul.
The falcon spread its wings and swoops down on its prey.
Like burnished steel blades, the talons dug into their target,

Leaving only the sweet smell of cherry blossoms
And the carcass of his prey for the hounds.
