My 5th and Final Blog. It'll probably be somewhat short too. Feeling really sick due to allergies mixed with the swine flu. So I found myself watching parts of the 100 days in office speech by Obama. I really liked how the first thing he talked about was the Swine Flu. Essentially all he said was "dude, no seriously, it's chill." and then the first reporter was like "HOW DO WE SWINE FLU?!?!" and again Obama was like "...dude seriously, chill out". If the President could slap people he so would've. We are freaking out because 20 people are feeling mildly uncomfortable. Seriously, our nation would have a seizure if a war was ever fought on our soil. The Iraq War is like out of sight out of mind now. We like forgot it was still going on. This Swine Flu panic is just horrifying because now like 5 million people are gonna cough and cry foul.... er swine. Okay that was lame, but you get my point.
When Swine Flu
I really had a decent time writing this blog. It was actually hard because I had no real audience. I play a lot of video games and watch a lot of movies but I felt like I was wasting effort talking about Silent Hill. I mean I feel like I could talk about so much more if only I knew if that's what people wanted to read. And my blog I feel would be so much more innopropriate if I was talking to like minded individuals. And with that way more fun. This was a Noble Experiment to say the least.
I won't end with bittersweet goodbyes but rather my thoughts on Jacob's Ladder which I watched a few days ago. That movie... God um where do I start? It's a movie about Vietnam... I think. It's a movie about the government lying to us... I think. It's a movie about the human mind... I think. The whole movie borders on nonsensical most of the time and by the end you wonder what you were just told. It all felt kind of pointless. I won't just spoil the ending... don't know why I won't but I feel like i shouldn't. The movie basically details him losing his damn mind in the best ways. Seeing weird crap. Best parts of the movie are when he totally just loses his stuff and weird junk is all over the place. One scene where he's taken to a government run insane asylum... thing and dying crazy people are just all over him. It's amazing and I wish more movies had a super crazy shocking scene like that. All and all, I liked it a lot. Slow at times but really the crazy bs really outweighs it.
