The Hoarders were souls that amassed welath only for themselves. The Wasters used everything on useless ventures and materials. The punishment for these souls was to push great weights and boulders up against each other and then take them back only to push them again for all time.

Plutus was placed in this circle. He is the Greek god of Wealth. He was a symbol of those who squandered and gathered money and material possessions. He mumbles gibberish to symbolize that Hell changes everything good into something meaningless.
Dame Fortune can be found in this circle. She represents Chance. She uses her spinning wheel to make changes on Earth.
