Due at the End of Class on 4/23:
First Five pages
1st page- It was a very brisk, winter day. A little girl named Sarah was gazing out the window, watching the snowflakes fall gracefully to the ground.
2nd page- Sarah asked her mom if she could go outside and play in it, and her mom said “Sure, just be very careful!” So Sarah gathered all of her snow clothes, and bundled up to go outside.
3rd page-Sarah’s mom was watching her from the window, as she was building a snowman and making snow angels. Sarah was having the time of her life. Her mom then yelled out the door to Sarah “Stay right there, I will be right back. I am just getting my camera!”
4th page-Sarah was a very curious girl and did not always listen to directions. She spotted footsteps in the snow that were leading down the sidewalk. She wanted to see where the steps would lead, thinking it would just be down her street.
5th page-Forgetting all about the directions her mom had just given her, she started following the little footsteps in the snow. She was concentrating so hard on following the trail that she didn’t once look up.

Due at the End of Class on 4/24:
Second five pages
6th page-As Sarah was walking with her eyes staring at the ground, she suddenly bumped into a little girl who was walking ahead of her.
7th page-Sarah finally looked up and said “oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t see you there!” “Do you happen to know whose footsteps these are?” The other little girl replied, “I think those are mine!” and then both girls laughed.
8th page-Sarah then realized that she didn’t have a clue to where she was, and got a little worried. The other little girl, named Olivia, asked if Sarah wanted to come with her on an adventure, and Sarah said of course!
9th page-The little girls kept walking and walking through the slushy snow untill they came to wide open land, where the stark, white landscape caught their eyes.
10th page-Olivia spotted a snowman in the distance, so the two girls ran over to it. They suddenly heard the snowman say hello! The two of them were very shocked but so excited at the same time.

Due at the End of Class on 4/27:
Next two pages
11th page- The snowman's name was snowflake, and he was extremely friendly. They spent the entire day playing all sorts of games together.
12th page- Snowflake then had an idea to play follow the leader! So once again, the two girls walked and walked, except this time they were having much more fun.
Due at the End of Class on 4/28:
Finish up as much as the book as possible
13th page- Eventually, Olivia said "this is starting to look very familiar!"
Snowflake said, "it should, this is your home!" So, once Olivia got home, she thanked the snowman and said goodbye to Sarah.
14th page- Sarah then asked "Now, where are we going?" and Snowflake replied "You'll see"
15th page- Soon after, they ended up back on Sarah's front yard where she had been playing that morning!
Sarah's mom, frantically pacing in her home, looked out the door, and saw Sarah standing there with her snowman!
16th page- Before Sarah could say good bye to the Snowman, it had become still and was not speaking or moving anymore. Sarah's mom gave her a huge hug and as they went inside, Sarah was telling her mom all about her adventures and how she had met a magical snowman, named snowflake.
