Due at the End of Class on 4/23:

Don't you hate those nights when you fall asleep with a knot in your stomach? You didn't have the greatest day and your not sure if you don't feel good or everything throughout the day is just piling up in the pit of your stomach. My best friends and my boyfriend are all asleep so I'm basically just left with my thoughts. Thinking back to the beginning of this school year it feels like an eternity ago; I've come closer to some friends and grown apart from others- if someone told me last year I'd be in this situation I probably wouldn't believe them. I'm not trying to be dramatic because things that happened aren't. Last year I would've been so upset to grow apart from friends but now I really know (as cliche as it is) that things that happen are for a reason. Friends you loose will bring you closer to friends you gain. And the ones who have been there from the beginning are truely the ones who will be there for you at the end (once again, cliche). I'm in a good mood and I'm happy to have people in my life that I love and who love me back :)

I like this. it kinda makes you think about your past year and how everything has been going. i dont think you can critisize something like this because it is something from the heart. these to me are some of the best forms of writing. speaking from your heart really opens the eyes of a lot of people. -Paul

Due at the End of Class on 4/28:
Our bare legs lay in the wet, green grass
We're prayin these long moments last and last
It feels like the end of summer, baby its just the start
A whole month away is gonna break my heart
At the end of July you'll come back my way
When the sun comes up til the end of the day
We'll spend the days like this in the hot August sun
Together again, your my favorite one

My boyfriend's going to summer session at blooms, he's leaving two days after senior week and won't be back until late July. It's not the summer we planned but they say; absence makes the heart grow fonder.
