The Life of A Smart Board and Marker Oh how that smart board stands tall and strong,
His face as white as snow in winter
But the most important thing is thin and long
Which is I, a whiteboard marker.
I am the one that does all the hard work,
Like writing up all the material.
But he takes all the credit, oh that jerk!
And to me he is never thankful.
I am the tiny screw that holds the glasses together,
Without me there is no point to them.
Forever and always I will be better
Then that smart board, I know I am.
It is I.
Oh how I loathe that little marker,
His skin always squeaky-clean.
Every time he writes on me the marks get darker and darker,
So he’s always in the spotlight, he is so mean.
I am the one that holds up his letters,
So everyone in the class can see.
He thinks that he’s the only one that matters,
But that is really me.
I am the glasses and he is the small screw,
There is no point to him without me.
By now he should have gotten the clue,
That I am the better one, don’t you agree?

Rushing in all together,
Adolescents start to enter this learning place.
Bright and early they arrive, matters not the weather,
Rushing in all together.
Into their cliques the students gather,
Filling the room with joy, happiness, and grace.
Rushing in all together,
Adolescents start to enter this learning place.
Sad/Lonely/Suicidal I sit there all alone,
On the shelf in the refrigerator.
Maybe it would all be better,
If I got eaten by an alligator.
If green reminds you of so many things,
Like grass, plants, and a tree,
Then why don’t people like broccoli,
Why don’t people like me?
I am delicious and healthy,
Can you believe that?
My rich flavors will exhilarate your taste buds,
But all I hear is “nobody wants that!”
My head is both,
Bristled and tender.
When you are sick,
I will be your amender.
I have done my best,
But turned out the worst.
As the weeks go by,
I feel like I’m cursed.
As I grow old,
I start to bend.
I think now is my time, My time to end
It’s A Cruel World There once was a girl named Ella, Who lived a big white mansion. She never had any friends, So she played with her butler Samson. One day she decided to escape, Escape the prison that blocked her from humanity. And finally make some real friends, Before she was overcome with insanity. She sees a man across the street, Shyly waving praying that she is seen. The nice man approaches her step by step, Elle’s heart pounding, hoping he is not mean. Evan greets her with a warm hello, Inviting her to his house. She decided to sneak away from home, As quiet as a mouse. Sitting all quiet and still, They watch TV in a small dark room. He starts to reach for an old black stick, Hits her on the head with a loud boom! She wakes up hours later, Cold and crying in a bed. She remembers nothing of the past incidents, But she could tell she was violated. Picking up her clothes, She runs back to the safety of her home. Her parents were making calls frantically, Because her whereabouts were unknown. From the one time she explores outside her walls, She made one important rule. From now on she will never leave home, And be abused by people so cruel.
